Our speaker this month will be Randy L. Langford. Randy L. Langford makes music, practices law, teaches at the University level, and explores the unknown from his home base of Austin, Texas. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Art degree in English Writing and Rhetoric from St. Edward’s University. One of Randy’s current passions is working with visionaries around the world to develop relationally focused agreement, and organizational structure and systems that utilize horizontal power distribution. In that pursuit Randy has created Dynamic Agreement™, a humanistic dialogue-driven approach to reaching and maintaining agreement.
What if agreement began with people envisioning their ideal world? What if prior to signing a contract, people engaged a process that facilitated discovery of values, principles, and motivations to help them determine if they’re compatible for the purpose of the agreement? What if agreements recognized change and conflict as normal aspects of the human experience, and provided a means of addressing challenges that treated prople as collaborative co-creators instead of adversaries? Dynamic Agreement™ does all that and more by putting the power of creating agreement and addressing change in the hands of the people affected by it. Randy L. Langford will guide us through the philosophy and process on which Dynamic Agreement™ is based. He will also show how technology can offer this approach to agreement to the World using artificial intelligence and SaaS architecture.
