BIO

Attorney George C. Lobb fights the government in court on a daily basis, from defending the criminally accused to litigating civil rights to defending immigrants who love our country.

He successfully sued Securus and Travis County for illegally recording inmate phone calls with their attorneys. EFF came to the rescue with expert witnesses for the case against Securus. These experts provided insight into how ALL jail phone systems record all calls all the time.

George turns the surveillance state against itself and uncovers government corruption in cases small and large.

TALK SUMMARY

George will talk about his involvement in a recent federal case involving the forensic extraction of incoming Signal messages lurking in iOS notifications.

He will also provide a Know Your Rights presentation and how to fight subpoenas and door knocks when you are NOT the one accused of a crime.

Please read the Fourth Amendment and Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 41 prior to coming to the meeting. There will be a quiz.
